Honoring a Giant in Freemasonry – October at The Henry Price Lodge
Brothers, friends, and famliy joined to celebrate the life of R.W. Ernest A. Pearlstein
There are moments in the life of a Lodge that remind us what Freemasonry is truly about. Our October Communication was one of those moments.
The Henry Price Lodge gathered to honor the life and legacy of Right Worshipful Ernest A. Pearlstein, a man whose impact on Massachusetts Freemasonry cannot be overstated. A mentor to many and a friend to all, Ernie exemplified the very best of our Craft through his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering enthusiasm for the fraternity.
The evening began with a heartfelt in-memoriam service, during which brethren shared stories of Ernie’s warmth, humor, and dedication to Masonry. Ernie was no stranger to the camera and never failed to put a smile on everyone’s faces. His legacy of joy and generosity continues to inspire us all.
In his memory, The Henry Price Lodge proudly presented a $5,000 donation to Shriners Children’s Boston, our largest philanthropic contribution to date. This act of charity honors Ernie’s lifelong commitment to helping others and embodies the Masonic principles of Brotherly Love and Relief. We were especially honored to welcome more than two dozen family members and friends from Aleppo Shriners, who joined us in celebrating a life so well lived.
The evening was also one of celebration and accomplishment within the Lodge. We were proud to recognize a Brother marking his 70th anniversary in Freemasonry, an extraordinary milestone that reflects a lifetime of dedication to the Craft. In addition, the Lodge installed its remaining officers for the year and presented Masonic diplomas to two newly raised Master Masons, officially welcoming them as full members of our fraternity. These moments remind us that while we honor the past, we also continue to build our future with strength and purpose.
The night was filled with remembrance, gratitude, and fellowship, a fitting tribute to a Brother who gave so much to the Craft and to those fortunate enough to know him. It was, without question, an evening to remember.
As The Henry Price Lodge continues to grow in strength, purpose, and community involvement, we carry forward the light of Brothers like R.W. Ernest A. Pearlstein, whose example reminds us of what it means to be a Mason both within and beyond the Lodge room.
